On the British home front in 1943, Anna Herberts loses her beloved grandmother to Nazi bombs. Months later, she is reunited with her best friend’s brother, Cameron Jenkins, home on leave. When shadows from his past catch up with him, Cameron is forced to entrust Anna with his deepest secret — for four years he has been a spy in a secret government intelligence agency.
